What is an AVA Accredited Trainer?

As detailed on the AVA Website - ‘Accreditation ensures minimum competency standards in dog training to make sure the dog is properly controlled by its handler and will be less prone to show aggression or bite. Accreditation is not compulsory. Non-accredited dog trainers can continue to offer their services to the public but are not recognised by AVA to train Scheduled Dogs.’

AVA Accredited Trainers are recognised by the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore to conduct training for dogs which fall under Schedules 1 & 2.
